We are in need of a MALE Personal Care Aide to assist one of our clients who is an elderly male Veteran and needs some help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking - to stay independent at home. The job is located in the town of Santa Monica, CA.
This is a long term position. 16 hours per week. The schedule is flexible but must stick to the schedule once it is agreed upon. Paid at $26/hour. Principal Responsibilities: TECHNICAL
• Obtains referral information from telephone and walk-in inquiries, including complete clinical and financial information necessary for ission committee approval.
• Ensures financial verification is accurate and complete before the patient is itted to the Center thus assisting in reducing s receivable.
• Obtains family commitment to tour the Center on 80% of viable referrals. Conducts a professional tour utilizing Center clinical personnel as assistance in gaining family commitment to it to the Center.
• Conducts the ission process of g in and explaining ission policies to patients and their families. Ensures a smooth transition is achieved and that all paperwork is complete upon ission. Emphasizes financial arrangements and responsibilities.
• Chairs the daily issions meeting with Center personnel to update on referrals, issions and follow-up which needs to be conducted in order to obtain ission. Assists with increasing conversion rate to exceed 65% by following up on all referrals immediately. Informs the issions committee of discharges.
• Informs Marketing Director of any referral source issues that arise during the referral process.
• Develops relationships with referral sources.
ISTRATIVE

• Communicates all billing issues with ing office and Marketing.
• Documents all necessary information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintains accurate daily updates on the Marketing Information System ensuring all data elements

• Attends all Center or Company required inservices and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Two to three years experience with the issions process at a SNF, subacute, rehab, or other health care facility.
• Excellent organizational skills with a detail orientation towards documentation and follow-up.
• Professional telephone skills with the ability to handle referral calls effectively and efficiently,
meeting the needs of the referral sources and families.
• Inside or outside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work with family and conduct tours with a focus on closing.
• Computer experience using a marketing information system.

Full Weekend Part Time/Day Shift
As a Driver at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will work as part of a team to provide exceptional hospitality and safe transportation to residents of Belmont Village Senior Living by transporting them to scheduled appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles which may include a wheelchair van, wheelchair bus, and car. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safe operation of the company vehicles in accordance with all applicable laws and ordinances

Actively participate in the day-to-day upkeep and preventative maintenance needs of the company vehicles which may include fueling and taking vehicles for scheduled service appointments
Assist with scheduled resident activities as needed

Turn bedfast residents as least every two hours.
Turn over all medication found in resident’s room to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge, Nurse.
Report environmental changes in room temperature, ventilation, lighting, etc.
Prepare residents for meals, i.e., take to the bathroom, wash hands, comb hair, raise bed, position tables, place bibs, take to/from dining room etc.
Serve food trays and assist with feeding as indicated.
Record resident’s food/fluid intake as instructed. Report changes in residents’ eating habits.
Perform after meal care, i.e., remove trays, clean resident’s face, hands, clothing, take to the bathroom, etc.
Keep residents’ water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water and within easy reach.
Serve between meal and bedtime snacks.
Check rooms for food articles, i.e., food in proper containers, unauthorized food items, etc.
Check rooms for unauthorized medications.
Attend and participate in all scheduled training, educational and inservice classes to keep current with changes/issues and to maintain certificate.
Restrain residents only as instructed by a nursing supervisor. Release residents at least every two hours.
Wash hands before and after performing any service for a resident.
Keep the call button within easy reach of the resident.
Report any hazardous condition/equipment to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse immediately.
Follow established isolation precautions and procedures. Wash hands before entering and after leaving an isolation area.
Report any communicable or infectious disease to the Director of Nursing and/or the Infection Control Coordinator.
Wear and use safety equipment and supplies, i.e., back brace, gait belt, mechanical lift, etc. when lifting or transferring residents.
Use only the equipment that you have been trained to use, operating the equipment in a safe manner.
